Grants Overview

HHFA awards grants annually to non-profit organization who benefit the greater Hilton Head Island area or other causes that are near and dear to our hearts.

Grant applications to become one of our supported charities in 2023 will be accepted 8/1/23 – 10/31/23.  Please download a copy of the HHFA grant application and send it in!

The Hilton Head Firefighters’ Association has enjoyed great success over the past year in its endeavor to support the community that its members serve. The HHFA, through the hard work and dedication of all of its members and volunteers, was fortunate to award over $20,000.00 to local charities in 2022! The HHFA, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization comprised of the employees of the Hilton Head Island Fire & Rescue Department, raises funds annually for the purpose of supporting local charities. Since its inception the HHFA has donated over $470,000.00 to local charities! The HHFA would like to thank both its members and the community in which we serve for their support of and participation in the various fundraising events that enable the success of the HHFA. Our community is blessed with a great organization and an amazing group of firefighters, their families and friends!
